In a recent television appearance in Dallas, Jeff Hardy opened up about his wrestling career and how his journey might have been different had he prioritized self-care earlier in life.
“Looking back, the way I lived in my 20s and 30s compared to now, it’s unbelievable to think about what could have been. If I had taken care of myself the way I do now, who knows? I might have surpassed even John Cena’s level of fame. Wrestling has always felt like a natural fit for me, almost as if I was destined for it. The best part, though, is that I’m still here, still thriving, and feeling great.”
Despite the challenges, Hardy’s career boasts numerous accomplishments, including multiple singles and tag team championships across various promotions, with significant title reigns in WWE and TNA.
The Hardys’ Focus on Wellness
Jeff also touched on how he and his brother Matt Hardy have recently embraced healthier habits, highlighting the impact of ice baths on their physical and mental well-being.
“As Matt mentioned, we’re big on ice baths now, and they’ve been incredibly beneficial for both my mind and body. I don’t set an end date for my career—I’ll keep wrestling as long as my body allows.”
The Hardys are gearing up for their next challenge as TNA World Tag Team Champions, set to defend their titles against The Rascalz (Trey Miguel and Zachary Wentz) at TNA Genesis on January 19.
