In the main event of tonight’s SummerSlam, Cody Rhodes triumphed over Solo Sikoa. Despite interference from The Bloodline (Jacob Fatu, Tama Tonga, and Tonga Loa), Randy Orton and Kevin Owens successfully countered their efforts. However, there was another unexpected interference.
Roman Reigns made a surprising return, marking his first appearance since losing the championship to Cody at WrestleMania XL. Initially, fans were unsure whose side Reigns would take, but his intentions became clear as he entered the ring. The Tribal Chief struck Solo with a Superman Punch, followed by a spear, eliciting a massive reaction from the crowd. Cody then sealed the victory with three Cross-Rhodes.
